DISAPPOINTED WITH DITECH

MY LOAN WAS TURNED OVER TO DITECH IN FEBRUARY, 2017 FROM OCWEN. I HAD BEEN THROUGH BANKRUPTCY AND IT WAS SATISFIED IN 2017. EVER SINCE DITECH HAS SERVICED MY LOAN; I HAVE NEVER SATISFIED THEIR MONETRY NEEDS. UP FRONT I WAS TOLD THAT I OWED SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. MY BANKRUPTCY LAWYER CONTACTED THEM AND I WAS TOLD HE C ontACTED THEM AND ALL WAS CLEARED UP....A MISTAKE! AFTER I STARTED MAKING PAYMENTS(WHICH WERE SENT TO VARIOUS ADDRESSES...WE HAD TO BEG FOR CORRECT ADDRESS...) THEY SENT STATEMENTS EVERY MONTH STATING NO PAYMENTS WERE RECEIVED. WE WERE DUMBFOUNDED! I CONSTANTLY CALLED, SENT BANK STATEMENTS, WROTE..WITH NO AVAIL. I WAS TOLD TO EITHER MAKE MY PAYMENTS OR I WOULD LOSE MY HOUSE. I EVEN RELUCTANTLY SIGNED A LOSS MITIGATION FORM . THIS WAS NOT HONORED BY THEM. THERE WAS AN INCREASE OF ALMOST $200.00 IN ESCROW. THEY HAVE TRIED TO CONFUSE ME, LEFT ME IN TEARS, CHARGED EXPENSIVE LATE CHARGES. THIS SEEMS ILLEGAL ALMOST TO AN EXTORTION DEGREE, I AM RETIRED,WENT THROUGH BANKRUPTCY BECAUSE I LOST MY ONLY CHILD,28, THEN LOST MY HUSBAND 3 YEARS LATER. THE ONLY INCOME WAS MINE AND THANK GOODNESS I SAW A WAY OF SAVING MY HOUSE. I HAVE RECEIVED MAIL FROM DITECH STATING I NEED TO SELL MY HOUSE..GET COUNSELING. IT IS DITECH WHO NEEDS COUNSELING. THEY PUT MY PAYMENTS IN ANOTHER ACCOUNT.I TOLD THEM TO RELEASE THESE AND GIVE ME CREDIT.MY PAYMENT AMOUNTS HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH(THEY SAY BECAUSE OF ESCROW...WONT LET ME PAY MY OWN). ITS NOT ENOUGH TO LOSE MY LOVED ONES...BUT THIS IS STRESS THAT CAN BE PREVENTED. THIS IS A CONSTANT THORN IN MY SIDE...THERE ARE NO LOCAL DITECHS..THEREFORE, I CANNOT SIT DOWN AND TALK TO THEM. WE SEND PAYMENTS , THEY ARE CASHED ON OUR ACCOUNT, BUT DITECH KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THEM! WELL,PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW OUR CHECK HAS BEEN CLEARED BUT YOU HAVE O RECORD. WHO CASHED IT????WHERE DID THAT MONEY GO???I AM RETIRED AND TRY VERY HARD. AT THIS RATE I WILL NEVER GET MY HOUSE PAID OFF. I SUPPOSE DITECH IS WAITING FOR ME TO DIE.PLEASE CLAIRIFY. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT? I GUESS IM OLD-FASHIONED AND BELIEVE TO DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. ARE WE SO OUT-DATED AND ADVANCED THAT PEOPLE VS. MONEY AND THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR IS ALL THAT COUNTS$$$ BUT, IN THIS SITUATION, THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR ISN'T MUCH HELP. I REALLY AM NOT ASKING TOO MUCH..JUST A SIMPLE EXPLANATION TO :WHAT IS GOING ON WITH DITECH?? MAYBE I CAN UNDERSTAND IF I COULD GET A STRAIGHT, HONEST ANSWER. Poor Customer Service

I have had some experience with mortgage companies and banks which backs mortgages in my time but this by far is the WORST company I have ever encountered. I called on Friday to try and pay anonymously on a relative's account. The representative was very kind and nice and did what she could to help me. I don't have authorization on this account but she really did all she could without giving me much information to assist me. Fast forward to today June 18, the first representative Erica was absolutely HORRIBLE. The representative on Friday advised that she placed notes in the account so that when I called back they knew why I was calling. I advised the representative Erica of why I was calling and told her that I wanted to remain anonymous but wanted to pay my relative's account to get them out of the red. I asked her if I pay a for instance $2000 would this get her out of the red. She says oh I can't give you that information with a snooty attitude. I asked her could she place a manager on the phone. When the manager join although she was nice she wasn't much better. I advised her of what was going on and she pretty much said the same and that she liked her job (didn't ask you whether you liked your job or not) I asked you whether you could just say yes this amount will put her in the green or no it will not. (And further more if you liked your job so much it would probably make sense to help in a situation such as this so that you can KEEP YOUR JOB!) So I just ended up paying an amount hoping that A. they keep me anonymous like I asked them and B. this will more importantly place my relatives account in green. Here's some advice for you Ditech...If I already know how much the remaining balance (thanks to the automated machine) is on the loan due to the fact I knew my relative's phone number, address, name and DOB, GUESS WHAT I'm already half way there. I never asked how much she was behind I didn't need to know those details. I just wanted to know whether the amount I was paying would satisfy her until August. Thanks to the representative on Friday I spoke with who was able to help me without giving too many details at all. Thank You so much. At least I know you value your job.

Your company is like trying to talk with God.

I have called 8 times and today Friday was 9th time...I can Not file my 2018 Income tax until I get a W2 to file on my 1040, I have asked 6 times to Send , Post me the form that is so I can send by paper work to IRS Please send by mail the form...U said Look on your computer inbox ..Well, for the 6 th time 1 month can NOT get either,,,Post (Mail) or email) I am getting fined 20% a month until I file 2018 Income tax forms. Trying to threaten every one with foreclosure so you can pay extra money under ground scams work

They say i am 6 months no pay in a row and i owe them 6.461 dollars and i do amite i do owe them 900.00 dollars or less i called obama care with house mortages i told them i sent them 1.444 dollars but they sent the money back saying it was not enough to get my account reinstated again i sent them 567.00 and again they sent that back i thought i was the only one come to find out they were doing every one else like that to some were not late at all some one working for the company he came with no papers to the property he came out 2 times he was very mean still no papers to the property it was always after hours

Worst company's ever! Country Wide,Bank of America, Greentree,Ditech

We tried to modify our mortgage but they would not help us ....We have been in our home for 15 years it is going to be auction off today 5/4/2019.The intrest that they have charged us is unbelievable they have received over 200,000.00 from us...The loan was sold off 3 time's and finally ended up in Ditech hands. They told us we owe close 247,000.00 as of May and the starting bid today is 184,400.00 Sickening to know that they would sale your home right out from under you and drop the price instead of helping the home owners stay in their homes. After making payments to theses crooks since 2008 starting with Country Wide,Bank of America, Greentree and now Ditech. VB

Back in february mortgage amount was changed acct#005045**** but ditech still want tell me the new amount so i am disabled and i can use whatever tge over amount is to buy much needed supplies please tell me my new mortgage pyment as of march of this year thank you

Ditech added aditional fees

I recently noticed that Ditech added a $760 fee and $1100 in interest. I was never late, never missed a payment always had Insurance Paid taxes etc. I have no clue what this is. I send several e mails that are never awnsered and I cant get a hold of them per phone

The most horrifying experience from a business I have ever had for 10 years

I got my home through this company and I was harassed on a daily basis. I would have to pay $12. for being late, I had a operator tell me that he looked up all my information and seen that we owned specific vehicles, land, and so on. He went on telling me that I was a horrible person for not paying my payments on time and that if I couldn't afford the home then what am I doing living there, He told me that if I didn't pay the payment by a certain day then I could and would be put in jail. I was very young and scared, so I scrambled what I could and paid them. The day we purchased the home the amount was 63, 000 and when we moved out the balance was still the same. They said it was because I was always late and that all of the payment was going towards late fees. I had a renter move in and they began paying the payments through me only. The lady that moved in was a very manipulative person. She some how got them to tell her everything about my loan. I called and told them time and time to stop giving out my information to a person not on the loan and he told me that since she lived there he thought she had a right to know everything. I put a block on my account so that when you called in you had to have my ssn. They continued to give her all the information she asked for. How? I have no idea. This company is a horrible business and I wish I would have never gotten a loan through them. I am still getting papers and calls from them. So to hear that they did this to so many others just makes me sick, but not surprised. I sure hope someone calls me because I have so many experiences on the negative side, that is it sad.

Ditech Bankruptcy Notices

OK, Ditech is filing bankruptcy. How does that effect the mortgage on my home #1? #2 if it has no effect on my home loan (monthly payment amount or the due date or the interest rate) that I currently have, then why do I keep getting these Ditech bankruptcy letters in the mail? When I call the phone # given for questions I am put on hold for up to an hour if I choose to wait that long. Why don't they set it up so that you can leave your number and get a call back? that way you don't have to sit around wasting your time. If ditech or any other business called your house about your loan and you tried to put them on hold for that long they wouldn't stand for it and I don't think that we should have to put up with it either. Wtf Wtf

Request partial release of property

I have been trying to get a partial release since Dec 2018. It took 6 weeks of email and phone calls to have them confirm the trustee name to be put on map. Then we got a request for more documents which we provided. We then got another request for a survey. I called and emailed they had two surveys, one from my engineer and one from the appraiser along with photos of my property, eventually that was dropped but 5 weeks were wasted. I then was mailed papers on how to file for an easement which I was not doing. My packet went to the underwriter and I was told there was only 1 ahead of me. Then the under writer requested another document that wasn't listed in their packet and I sent that in where it sat for 10 days. I emailed again to explain how this was disrupting my life and was told my packet would go to the under writer the next day. After a week I emailed to see if there was a time frame or if it would have to go to another dept to be completed. The response was that they were so behind in processing that they were unable to provide any idea of when it would be completed. I cannot believe a company treats their customers with such disregard. Any messages I have left with customer service are it will be processed in the order received or there is a 15 day processing time I have been lied to by their customer service and received no help by emailing except for the one lady that called me. I wish I had her name as she is the only person in 6 months that tried to help. I do not know how this company has stayed in business, I would never recommend a loan with them even if you had to pay higher interest.
