Final Payoff

I don’t understand when I send a payment (cashier check) to pay off the loan they can’t process it for over 2 1/2 weeks There is something not right with this company. When you call them, no one is able to help you real time. Please report your issue to the BBB.

I have a lawyer now I was identified as harm by the Class action suit against Green Tree. The company name was changed to DITECH they continue to carry out the same paractices with the same people doing it.

Terribile Customer Procedure

ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES!! THEY LIE AND MISREPRESENT THEMSELVES. MY INSURANCE COMPANY APPROVED MY CLAIM FOR OVER $70,000 AND THE CHECK WAS MADE PAYABLE TO ME AND DITECH. MAILING THE CHECK TO DITECH FOR ENDORSEMENT I DISCOVERED THAT THEY PUT THE MONEY 9NO INTEREST0 IN A ESCROW ACCOUNT. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR MONTHS TO OBTAIN FUNDS RELEASED TO PAY CONTRACTORS FOR DAMAGES SUSTAINED AND REQUIRE REPAID WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS THE CONTINUE TO REQUEST MEANINGLESS REQUIREMENTS. I PAD CONTRACTORS AND SENT DITECH COPIES OF PAID CHECK WITH CONTRACTS AND THEY STILL CONTINUE TO ASK FOR MORE REQUIREMENTS. It's my money I paid the insurance premiums and they are holding me hostage.

After filing a complaint with the Florida's State's Attorney funds are starting to be released.Still a difficult company to deal with in obtaining funds paid by the insurance company but slowly resolving the issue.

EVERY MONTH FOR THE PAST 6-MONTHS I'VE HAD TO CALL THEM BECAUSE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY STATMENTS TO MAKE A PAYMENT..ALWAYS SOME LYING EXCUSE..THE 5TH MONTH I WAS MORE THAN MAD,DEMANDED TO TALK TO A MANAGER THAT WOULD NOT TALK TO ME. ASSURED ME IT WOULD BE SENT OUT ON TIME FOR THIS MONTHS STATMENT WHICHES IS DUE ON THE 5TH I RECEIVED IT ON 2ND,I CALLED AGAIN SAME LIE IT WAS MAILED ON THE 16TH..THEY WOULD NOT LET ME MAKE A PAYMENT BY PHONE UNLESS I PAID A FEE...WHICH I REFUSED WHEN IT IS THEIR INCOMPETENT FAULT...THEY HAVE BAD PRACTICES,THEY LIE ALL THE TIME, RUDE..HOW WOULD I RATE THEM -50

Ditech screwed up and is making me pay for it

In 2015, I shopped around and found a less expensive homeowner's insurance policy. I called Ditech to switch to the new one and cancel the old one, and they assured me everything was taken care of. My monthly payment was adjusted and dropped considerably.

More than two years later, they hit me with a nearly $20,000 escrow shortage that they expected me to pay. I went over the last two years' escrow statements and projections and discovered they never cancelled the old policy and had been making payments on both policies, but charging me for only the new one.

Many emails and phone calls later, Ditech is refusing to take responsibility for the error and says my only recourse is to request a refund from the old insurance company, which of course is refusing, since they did nothing wrong.

Ditech says they sent a letter in 2016 advising me that I had two policies. I did go through my files and found that letter, but I recall that I dismissed it as a mistake because I was paying for only one policy and never expected that they would have neglected to cancel the old one. In retrospect, I should have called to ask what that letter meant, but I had no inkling that they screwed up.

Had they been charging me for both policies, I would have caught the error right away, but Ditech allowed the escrow shortage to grow for more than two years without my knowledge, before suddenly demanding nearly $20,000 in December 2017. Ditech says was my responsibility to catch the error, but there were no red flags for more than two years.

Consistent chaos in dealing with Ditech.

Failure to accurately post ALL mortgage payments. Placing mortgage payments into "suspense accounts" Alleging that payments were not received when account statement says it was received and posted on time.

Will not allow you to escalate concerns and complaints to a supervisor or manager for discussion and resolution. Way too many unethical practices with this mortgage company. No explanations provided when the company is contacted.

Failure to understand the terms and procedures for loan modification handled by the previous mortgage company that owned, authorized and fully processed a loan modification. It appears that the unethical practices and procedures encountered are intentional and therefore illegal.

You can report it to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and see if they can help you. I suggest you get a complete copy of your Master File which has everything from original loan whether through Ditech or another company.

See if you can tell what their doing from your file.

They provided false documents to me when I made a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I'm far from being done with them.

I received a letter re my correspondence from you and my loan. I have left you messages daily asking you to call me. The number(s) that you provided me that used to work, now do not! Complaint about a representative in your finance dept. 1-80*-643-****

I called your 1-80*-643-**** number to ask a question about the new amount of my monthly payment. Jasman was very fast in speaking and I advised her of this and she was not receptive to my feedback. She was short, negative, unprofessional, and rude when she tried to answer a question I did not ask. I advised her that all I wanted was to find out why I was told last week by another representative at Ditech at this same number that I would be receiving my corrected payment stub in about 3 days. She continued to explain why I still received the incorrect statement. I explained again that all I needed was to find out when I would be receiving the correct statement with the correct amount and she finally told me April 2018. She interrupted me several times when I asked other questions and I just thanked her and hung up. I do not appreciate this type of service and I am sure other customers do not either. Someone needs to talk to this lady about executing positive business ethics and professionalizism. Thanks, Toby Castro 210-632-**** cell

The only way to LEGALLY make them reply to your issue and have it documented legally is to write them a QWR (Qualified Written Request) and DO NOT send it to the customer service address, that is NOT the address where it MUST be sent.Send it to Ditech PO BOX 6176 Rapid City S.D. 57709-****.

You can Google a QWR and get a form letter to fill out. They have 30 days to answer your concern and fix any errors that are their fault.

Ditech is the worse mortgage company I have ever had to deal with. I have now talked with 5 or 6 customer service reps now and have been told three different storys about when my PMI insurance is going to be removed.

I have been told in March 2018, then March 2019, and even May 2019... and why do I have to have a appraisal to have it rermoved when i have less then 70% of my loan left. I am so tired of this companies incompetence.. I give this company a big negative 5 stars.

Plus they want let you talk to there supervisor...

what a turd of a company.. who doesnt really care to help you with an issue like this.

Apparently there are idiots running this company. Last year, we overpaid our escrow account. This year after an adjustment, weve underpaid! Therefore, it has caused my payments not only to increase but was not appropriately notified of these changes. I spoke with an agent and their policies make it difficult to make a payment. Do you NOT want my money? Ridiculuous! Do not use these people. Im looking to move mortgage.

Loan paid off 10 years ago and Lien on Moble Home Title never released!!

After my Moble home burned the insurance company required the Title to finalize the insurance pay out. That's when we found out the original loan in 1993 that has been paid off for Ten years still has a Lien on the Moble home Title.

It's now been a month and After contacting Two Ditech supervisors the Lien is still not released and they will not return calls.

Florida law requires timely lien release when the loan is satisfied but Ditech is above the law. We are held hostage by Ditech as we lost our home and can not rebuild without Home insurance payout which requires the Title of the mobile home signed over to them.

Ditech Credit Reporting Errors

I believe Ditech intentionally ruined my credit in order to force me into a new 40 year mortgage with them after hurricane Irma. Until feburary 2018 my was 727. Ditech said they made an error and reported my mortgage as a revolving charge account with a balance of 314,000. My FICO score dropped to 599. This all started when I entered the FEMA Forebearance program. My score is keeping me from getting a loan to pay back the 5,000 I saved for repairs during the progam. Has anyone had this problem. This company is a mess I was under review for a modification and they foreclosed on me gave no notice and here comes four cops to evict me!! It is not right what they get away with they are rude and lie and have no care even if there is a special need child in the house they will miss apply payments and then your account number won't work so they can't take payments and they will forclose well they are supposedly fixing the issue
